Dr. Brianna Matzke is a dedicated music educator and pedagogue with over ten years of teaching experience. A Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM), she is currently serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the Oberlin Conservatory, and she is also Coordinator of Collaborative Piano at Interlochen Arts Camp. She holds degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and the University of Kansas.
Brianna's dynamic pianism has won her wide-spread acclaim. As an aficionado of new music, she has collaborated with many composers, including Mark Mothersbaugh, Douglas Knehans, Molly Joyce, Dylan Sheridan, Paul Schuette, Danny Clay, Ty Neimeyer, Jen Jolley, Carrie Magin, Evan Williams, Paul Poston, Bryan Percoco, Trevor Gomes, and Lindsey Jacob. Brianna's most recent programs have included innovative works by George Crumb, Emma Lou Diemer, and Carl Vine. She is a regular soloist and collaborator in the across the country.
